We cannot defend your interests alone. Yet complaints do not necessarily mean war. Very often, we manage to negotiate an agreement that satisfies both parties. Your complaint with the association is also confidential. The „Labour Contracts and Collective Bargaining” section contains all the employment contracts in force at Concordia, the latest information on our collective bargaining and collective bargaining in general. For more information, please visit the FAQ. NOTE BENE: If you need to be on medical leave (for example. B illness or accident) for a course (or part of your course), be sure to fill out the short-term disability forms of the human resources department. You are entitled to 100% of your salary for the first month and 85% of your salary for the remaining part of your apprenticeship contract. (e) Short-term disability insurance is available after an apprenticeship contract is entered into, so please contact Benefits in Human Resources (benefits@concordia.ca) and download the short-term disability form on the HR website (www.concordia.ca/hr/). CTLS has an excellent workshop on professional records that you can take to learn more about how to put your best foot forward. Concordia values each faculty and staff member and respects their right to be represented by a union or staff organization.

We strive to develop and maintain positive, respectful and constructive relationships with all employee groups during negotiations and throughout the duration of negotiated agreements. We negotiate at the negotiating table, with the negotiating teams selected for this purpose by the staff concerned. We will communicate with teachers, staff, students, parents and stakeholders about the status of collective bargaining in a way that does not impede or hinder the collective bargaining process. Concordia`s full-time faculty signs a new agreement with the university. Read the full announcement here. Contact the association immediately (cupfa@alcor.concordia.ca). You can find a copy of the seniors list on your portal. As soon as you access „My Portal,” go to the „My Concordia” menu and click Faculty – Personal Services.

In the Employee Self-Service menu, you`ll find the link to the CUPFA seniors list and you can access your seniority credits. In addition, your department head can provide you with a copy. Up-to-date disc lists will be published in your department in February of each year, and it`s time to look for errors. To correct an error or check your work history, contact Suzanne Downs, the propste`s office under Suzanne.Downs@concordia.ca and copy the Association: cupfa@alcor.concordia.ca. Please note that it is the member`s responsibility to ensure that your ranking and seniority are correct. Course evaluations are feedback tools; it`s the only way to know what students really think of us, the course or the university. In the past, evaluations have not distinguished between teaching materials and the speaker. We currently have a general assessment for all part-time university faculty members.

Assessments are determinative in nature and the teaching criteria are clear.
